This policy explains how Uruguay Residences (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data through uruguayresidences.com. We are based in Dublin, Ireland, and process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
- Information you give us when you book a consultation or contact us: name, email address, phone number (optional), time zone and the details you choose to share about your plans.
- Technical data needed to run the website securely, such as IP address and browser type, kept in server logs.
- Analytics or marketing cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner.
Why we use it
- To schedule and hold your consultation and reply to your enquiry (steps taken at your request before any agreement).
- To prepare a shortlist and, with your explicit consent, introduce you to registered Uruguayan real estate operators, escribanos or advisers involved in your search.
- To keep the website secure and working (legitimate interest).
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and bookings (hosting, email), and with Uruguayan professionals involved in your search when you ask us to. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to further work are deleted after 24 months. Records linked to a purchase are kept for as long as legal and accounting obligations require.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time.
